HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 404 ORDINANCE NO. 4....04.:.. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION: 101 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3400 PASSED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH NOVEMBER 19th 1912. THE SANE BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE CONSTRUCTION, REGULA- TION, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND REMOVAL OF BUILDINGS AND PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMZNT OF A BUILDING INSPECTOR WITHIN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TRXAB, AND PRESCRIBINGWTHE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: Section 1. That Section 101 of Ordinance No. 340 passed by the Board of Commissioners November 19th-1912, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows : SECTION 101: Nothing herein contained shall be construed to authorize or require any other alteration to theatres existing to the date of this code, than are specified in the preceeding section. Theatre or opera houses hereafter erected or where buildings "Allownd to bs ngj& atter erected or altered for theatrical or operatic purposes or public resorts or public entertainments of any kind, for the accommodation of less than Three Hundred persons ehall be built to comply with section 102, part 16 of Ordinance No. 340 passed November 19th-1912, except that the open courts or spaces specified in the aforesaid section may be omitted. Section 2: That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con- flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 3: Any person or persons, dirm or corporation,, vio- lating a ry of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by fine of not less than $6. 00 nor more than #200.00] Section 4 : This Ordinance shall t ake effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
