AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 CF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, 1950, BY AMENDING ARTICLE
3 OF SUCH CHAPTER TO PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Chapter 7, Article 3 of the Code of the City of Fort Worth be
amended, and as amended shall contain the following provisions:
Sec. 31a.
In the event that an animal is quarantined in the City Pound under
the terms and provisions of Section 31 of this Chapter, the owner or person
entitled to possession of such animal shall pay the sum of One Dollar
($1.00) per day as board for such animal, during the time such animal is so
quarantined.
Sec. 31b.
No animal which is placed under quarantine under the terms and provi-
sions of Section 31 of this Chapter shall be moved to a location or place
different from the location or place where such animal was originally placed
under quarantine or restraint, unless and until the Health Officer of the
City of Fort Worth has been notified of the moving of such animal.
SECTION 2.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in Section
5 of Chapter 1 of the Fort Worth City Code.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from
and after the date of its passage and publication as provided by law.
