NUMBER

;The owier of Lot 99 Block 8, Frisco Heights Addition, and Lot 2, Block 6,
Prospect Heights Addition, George M. Graves, has requested the closing of
Hagler Street between the west line of Frazier Avenue and the east line of
the alley west of Frazier Avenue. A map showing the proposed closing is
attached.
The private utility companies and the Traffic Engineering, Planning, Public
Works, and Water Departments have been contacted and offer no objection to the
closing, provided easements are retained for a storm drain and for an existing
sanitary sewer. The City Plan Commission has reviewed the request and recom-
mends the closing of the subject portion of Hagler Street.
The north 26 feet of the 36 foot street was acquired by dedication. However,
the south 10 feet was acquired by quit-claim deed in 1927, which the Land Agent
advises should be sold to the adjacent property owner at the price of $125, in
accordance with the policy for the sale of real property.
It is recommended that the Mayor be authurized to execute a quit-claim deed for
for sale of the 10 foot strip of land to the adjacent property owner for $1250
an amount agreeable to Mr. Graves, and that an ordinance be adopted c]osing the
section of Hagler Street as requested.
