DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Street Closings - Marco PAGE
NUMBER PZ-125 Industrial Center Subdivision 1or _
1/4/65
Property owners in the Marco Industrial Center Subdivision have requested that
the portion of the plat south of the north one-half of Block 2 be vacated, in-
cluding the streets traversing this portion of the plat as recorded in Volume
388-E, Page 101, Plat Records of Tarrant County. The attached print shows in
red the area to be vacated.
The private utility companies agree to vacating the plat and closing the
streets as requested, subject to retaining easements for existing pipelines,
telephone and power lines. The City Public Works, Traffic Engineering,
Water, and Planning Departments have no objection to closing the streets and
vacating the plat, provided necessary easements are retained.
The City Plan Commission on December 31, 1964, approved vacating the plat,
and recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance closing the streets
as requested, retaining necessary easements.
