AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE 8' X 100'
UTILITY EASEMENT CROSSING LOT 9-A, BLOCK 19,
BAILEY INDUSTRIAL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the 8' x 100' utility easement crossing Lot 9-A,
Block 19, Bailey Industrial Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ex-
tinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an
easement for public utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Mrs. A. N. Uhlemann, owner of all adjoining property, has requested the abandon-
ment of an east-west utility easement (eight feet. by one hundred feet) crossing
Lot 9-A, Block 19 of the Bailey Industrial Addition as shown on the attached map.
Abandonment of the easement, which is no longer needed, will permit new construc-
tion at the location.
Private utility companies and City departments have reviewed the request and do
not object to the proposed easement abandonment. The City Plan Commission has
reviewed the request and recommends adoption of an ordinance that has been pre-
pared vacating the easement as requested.
City Council action on the Plan Commission recommendation is requested.
