AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY
IN BLOCK 11, ALFORD AND VEAL ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM EAST
TUCKER STREET SOUTH TO STELLA STREET, BE ABANDONED,
VACATED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION
OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID
LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION to
That the north-south alley in Block 11, Alford and Veal
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
from East Tucker Street south to Stella Street, be and the
same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as
an alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said alley is hereby released and shall revert
to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law, save
and except that the vacated right of way is retained as a
utility easement.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
