The attached reports contain the information on various salary.alternatives
requested by the Council
1. Salary Recommendation Cost Analysis
This is a summary report showing the overall impact of excluding Kansas
City, Phoenix, Columbus and Norfolk from the salary survey.
2. Re-run of Salary Survey Data Excluding Four Cities
This report is a computer re-run of salary survey data excluding the
high four survey cities (Kansas City, Phoenix, Columbus and Norfolk).
This report is printed in the same format as the original 1975 National
and State Salary Survey report.
3. Proposed Salary Schedule for City of Fort Worth ftloyees z 1975-76
This is a revised salary schedule showing the changes in salary increases
for each job classification caused by exclusion of the four survey cities.
The report is printed in the same format as that found in the back of
the budget proposal for your convenience in analyzing these changes. Two
extra columns have been added under the "Revised Proposal" heading. The
first column shows any change in percent increase for each job class. If
there was no change the column will be blank. The second column shows a
plus or a minus and indicates if the salary recommendation is increased
or decreased.
4: Police and Fire Parity Proposal Alternatives for 1975-76
This report shows the overall cost impact of three different alternatives
for establishing Police-Fire pay parity and indicates the change in per-
cent increase for each _Jnb. .clAzs.. The-f.irst. alternative indicates in-
creasing firemen to the recommended salary for Policemen. The second
alternative is lowering Policemen to the recommended pay level for
Firemen. The third alternative is "splitting the difference".
