AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND AWARDING THE
CONTRACT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF
BELLAIRE DRIVE NORTH, BOWIE STREET, JJEST
CANTEY (A NPR) STREET, AND WEST CANTEY STREET,
IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas
Section 1.
That the City Council having opened and read in open meeting and
having carefully considered bids for the improvement of Bellaire Drive North,
from the west line of University Drive to the east line of Block 21, Bellaire
Addition; Bowie Street, from the west line of Lubbock Avenue to the east line
of University Drive; West Cantey (a new) Street, from the west line of Stadium
Drive to the west line of Block 22, University Place Addition; and West Cantey
Street, from the west line of University Drive to the east line of Stadium
Drive, in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, the proposal of the Texas Bitulithic
Company to do the said work be and the same is hereby accepted, and that the
said work of improvement be awarded to the said company at and for the prices
stated in the proposal of the said company and as reported and recommended by
the Department of Public Works, and that the City Attorney is instructed to
prepare a contract with the said company for the construction and maintenance
thereof, as required by the specifications adopted therefor, and to submit the
said contract and bonds to this Council for approval.
Section 2.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
