HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2807 ORDINANCE NO. 2 _ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION XVIII OF ORDINANCE NO. 1914, KNOPIN AS THE PARKING METER ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION, REGULATION AND CONTROL OF THE USE OF PARKING METERS; PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGING AND LIMITATION OF PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN THE ONE (1) HOUR ZONE BY LIlaT- ING PARKING TO TWENTY (20) baNUTES IN THE AREA 34ENTIONED HEREIN; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUhULA- TIVE OF ALL OTHER TRAFFIC ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT ANY ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH SHALL BE REPEALED; PROVIDING FOR PENALTY; AND PRO- VIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION I. That Section XVIII of Ordinance No. 1914, limiting parking to twenty (2) minutes be amended to include the following street: STREET EXTENT SIDE Throckmorton St. From West 6th Street extending North 110 feet. East SECTION II. This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting traffic and shall not operate to repeal or affect any such ordinance or ordinances, except insofar as the provisions of such ordinance or ordinances are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, in which instance or in- stances those provisions shall be and they are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or permit, suffer or allow anyone to violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of an offense, and upon conviction shall be fined not to exceed the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars. SECTION IV. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and publication as required by law. FP ROVED AS TO FORId: ity ,ttorney
