The purpose of the Pre-Council Conference held prior to a
regular City Council Meeting is to allow the Mayor and
Councilmemhers to discuss informally items on the agenda and to
secure information from the City Manager and the staff.
Although the meeting is open to the public, citizens are
requested to reserve comments and questions for the subsequent
Council meeting so they will be a part of the public record.

(M&C L-8319)
Ivory: Briefed the Council on the status of a property exchange between
— Tarrant County and the City of Fort Worth. The land obtained from
Tarrant County will be used for a service center.
Newkirk: Asked if the City will remove the buildings located on the land obtained
from Tarrant County? (Ivory: All buildings/facilities on the site will be
used.)
Williams: Has land been appraised? (Ivory: The land was appraised, and the
County paid for the appraisal.)
