ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE FORT WORTH AND
DENVER CITY RAILWAY COMPANY, AND ANY OTHER
PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION OPERATING THE
SAME, OR WHO MAY OPERATE. THE SAID FORT WORTH
AND DENVER CITY RAILWAY COMP
ANY, THE RIGHT,
EASEMENT AND FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN
AND OPERATE A CERTAIN INDUSTRY TRACK OVER,
UPON AND ACROSS A PORTION OF DENTON AVENUE,
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS. -
WHEREAS, Texas Chemical Company, through its
Trustee, S. Peiser, is planning the construction of
an industry located adjoining the tracks of the
Fort Worth and Denver City Railway Company; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Texas Chemical
Company, through its Trustee , to obtain trackage
connection with the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway
Company to serve its plant; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that said -industry track
, as proposed to be constructed shall cross a portion of
Denton Avenue , located within the City of Fort Worth,
Texas; and,
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth that it would be advisable to
construct said industry track for the purpose of serving
the industry known as the Texas Chemical Company:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Fort Worth and Denver City
Railway Company, and any person, firm or corporation
operating the said Fort Worth and Denver City Railway
Company, or which may operate said Fort Worth and
Denver City Railway Company, are hereby granted the
right, power, privilege, easement and franchise
to construct, maintain and operate , a certain
industry track over, upon and across that portion of
Denton Avenue lying within the City of Fort Worth,
Texas, the center line of-said-Industry track to be
located approximately as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of
Denton Avenue, in the S. Gilmore Survey No. 2,
45 feet northwesterly from the center line of
the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway, measured
at right angles thereto, extending in a north-
easterly direction and crossing the northeasterly
city limit line approximately 75 feet north-
westerly from the center line of said main track,
measured at right angles thereto.
Section 2. This ordinance is to be in force
from and after its passage.
