7/20/64 Water Plant
To permit better utilization of City Water Department Property, it is proposed
to close Eleventh Avenue between the north line of West Daggett Avenue and
the north line of Lot 1, Block 3, Crawford Addition, as shown on the attached
plat.
The electric, telephone and gas utilities, which have lines in the street,
do not object to the closing provided easements will be retained. The
Public Works, Traffic Engineering, and Planning Departments do not object
to abandoning the street.
On June 10, 1964, the City Plan Commission reviewed the request and recommended
that the street be closed as requested, provided easements are retained for
all existing utilities. Adoption of an ordinance closing the street is
requested.
