The fact that such improvements may be omitted on any portion of any of said units adjacent to any premises exempt from the lien of such assessments shall not in anywise invalidate, affect or impair the lien of such assessments upon other premises. X. Information pertaining_ to the construction of the streets and the computation of assessments was presented to the 22 persons in attendanc_. Unit 1 - Margaret Street - E.1 Campo Avenue to Collinwood Avenue. No objections to the paving were mada-= at the neighborhood hearing. Unit 2 - Locke Avenue - Eldridge Street to Sanguinet Street, No objections to the paving were made at the neighborhoo3 hearinq. Unit 3 - Libby Avenue - Bourine Street to Her,ie Street. No objections to the paving were made at 7.he neighborhood heating. Unit 4 - Bourine Street: - Blackmore Street. to Libby Avenue. No objections to the paving were made at rhe neighborhood hearing. Unit 5 - Garland Avenue - Lackland Road to Sappington Place. No objections to the paging vere mad, at the neighborhood hearing. Unit 6 - Garland Avenue - Sappington Pl.a,:.e ' o Olive Place, No object.ion.s to the paving were made at the ne.ighbo:rhood hearing. Unit ? - Garland Avenue_ - Tex Boulevard to Mary's Lane. Mrs. Jim Brooks, owner of Lot. 1-B9 Block 2, Zr Boaz Country Place Addition, objected to the paving because she feels the amount of the assessmPn: is Parc-ess.iveo The property is a corner .lot., which is also being assessed on Mary's Lane, Unit. 8, Unit 8 - Mary's Lane - Greenway Road to Garland Avenue. Mr. T. G. Sanderson, .Jr. , owner of Lot 1-A, Block 199 Z. Boaz Country Place Addition, stated that Mary's Lane is a good street and he did not believe it should be torn out and rebuilt. It was Explained to hir-.i that the construction of a storm drain .in Mary's Lane is proposed, thl- installation of which would require the reconstruction of Mary's Lane. Mr. Sanderson and several other property owners living on Mary's Lane questioneJ routing the proposed storm drain in Mary's Lane in lieu of placing it in the existing utility easement at the rear of the lets on the wesr, side of Mary's Lane. The alternate route of placing the storm drain in the easement was considered; however., the easement is insufficient in width for Construction purposes. Be^.a,use .acquisition of additions'_ easements would be necessary, including relocation of several fences whish now exist in, the easement, it has been determined that, the storm drain should be 10.ated in 'the street as proposed. H 1 Page 2 of 2 Unit 9 - Elizabeth Lane - Lackland Road to 41.01 West. Mr. J, M. Powell, Jr., the owner of Lot 1, Block 1.7, Z. Boaz Country Place Addition, said that he opposed the paving because it is a dead-end street and in his opinion; the paving will only benefit the church which proposes to build a parking lot with access to this street. Christ the King Episcopal Church has requested the paving of Elizabeth Lane in conjunction with the development of the church property. It is necessary to pave Elizabeth Lane to provide access for the parking lot proposed by the church and required for the development of the church facilities. Unit 10 - Eldridge Street _ Lovell. Avenue to Locke Avenue. Eldridge Street was initiated because of its relationship with Locke Avenue (Unit 2). The improvement of Eldridge Street from Lovell to Locke is needed to :improve drainage and facilitate better maintenance. If Eldridge is not paved, storm water flowing down Eldridge Street will wash gravel onto Locke Avenue and damage the pavement at the intersection of Locke and Eldridge. The unit will connect pavement on Lovell and Locke Avenue. Mr. Louis PJB. Mueller, owner of Lot 21, Block 152, Chamberlain Arlington Heights 1st Additions stated that he is satisfied with the present street and therefoze opposes the paving.
