AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF WOOLERY STREET FROM
LOT 2, BLOCK 1, JUSTIN ADDITION TO ITS NORTHERN TERMINUS IN
LOT 1, BLOCK 1, SEVENTH STREET .STATION CONTAINING
APPROXIMATELY 12,773 SQUARE FEET OR 0.293 ACRES OF LAND•
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND• THE
RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a portion of Woolery Street from Lot 2, Block 1 Justin addition to rts northern
terminus in Lot 1 Block 1 Seventh Street Station, containing approximately 12,773 square feet
or 0.293 acres of land, more or less and as more specifically described in Exlubrt `1 `2" and `3
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same ~ vacated and
extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That existing utility easements shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities located
in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense.
SECTION 3.
That the fee to the land in the above-described street rights-of--way is released and shall revert
to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a portion of Woolery Street from Lot 2,
Block 1 Justin Addition to its northern terminus in Lot 1 Block 1 Seventh Street Station containing
approximately 12 773 square feet or 0 293 acres of land
DISCUSSION
Dunaway and Associates acting on behalf of Sol No 2 LTD has requested vacation of the above
referenced right-of-way in order to include the property with a replat for an adjacent condominium project.
The Engineering Real Property Services Division states that the purchase fee of $12,733 00 has been
received Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this
request. The City Plan Commission recommended approval of this request at its meeting on March 23
2005 Any existing utilities will be relocated at the applicant's expense An acceptable replat has been
received (Exhibit 3)
This vacation is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9
