RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO, 46367
This RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 46367
("Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through its duly
authorized Assistant City Manager, and Billy Phenix ("Consultant"), an individual. The City and
Consultant are individually referred to as a "party" and collectively referred to as the "parties."
WHEREAS, City and Consultant are currently parties to a contract for consulting
services, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 46367 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for an Initial Term and a single, one-year Renewal
Term; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to renew the Agreement for a Renewal Term, commencing
October 1, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Fort Worth and Consultant do mutually covenant and agree
as follows:

City and Consultant hereby agree to renew and extend Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract 46367 for a Renewal Term of one (1) year, beginning on October 1, 2015, and
ending September 30, 2016.

2.
For purposes of the Renewal Term, Section 5 of the Agreement is deleted in its entirety
and replaced with the following:
In full payment and consideration for all services provided hereunder during the
Renewal Term, the City shall pay Consultant an amount not to exceed $4,083.33
per month. The City shall not pay any expenses. It is understood that said
payments are due and payable by City upon receipt of an invoice from Consultant.
Unless otherwise agreed to by the parties, payment under this Agreement shall not
exceed the total amount of $49,000.00 for services and expenses during the
Renewal Term.
3.
All terms and provisions of City Secretary Contract No. 46367 shall remain in full force
and effect throughout the first Renewal Term except as specifically amended herein.

to triplicate originals on this day of , 2015.
