The owner of the area shown on the attached plat of Eastern Hills, Second Fil-
ing, which adjoins Meadowbrook Golf Course east of Wilson Road, has requested
that the plat be vacated so that he may record a new plat permitting more de-
sirable development. A preliminary replat has been reviewed by the City Plan
Commission and approved.
The private utility companies, the Public Works Department, Traffic Engineering
Department, Water Department and Planning Department, have no objections to va-
cating the plat including rights-of-way and easements, excepting the utility
easement paralleling the eastern boundary of the property and excepting a tempo-
rary easement for a fire hydrant until such time as it is relocated.
At its meeting May 8, 1963, the City Plan Commission reviewed the request and
recommended that Marty Court, Sandy Court, and easements not needed by the pri-
vate utility companies nor by the City, be vacated as requested.
