AN ORDINANCE INCREASING ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN
THE AIRPORT GRANTS FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,000 CONTINGENT UPON
RECEIPT OF THE ROUTINE AIRPORT MAINTENANCE PROJECT GRANT FROM THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ITEMS AT FORT WORTH ALLIANCE AIRPORT MAKING
THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for Fiscal Year 2005-2006 in the
Budget of the City Manager there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the
Airport Grants Fund in the amount of $60,000 contingent upon receipt of the Routine Airport Maintenance
Project Grant from the Texas Department of Transportation for the purpose of funding routine maintenance
items at Fort Worth Alliance Airport.
That should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void
for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall in no way
impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining
provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 16582 and all other ordinances and appropriations
amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict
with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior
ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

Authorize the Acceptance of a Routine Airport Maintenance Project Grant for Fort Worth Alliance
Airport and Adopt Appropriation Ordinance
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to
1 Accept a $60 000 Routine Airport Maintenance Project (RAMP) Grant for Fort Worth Alliance Airport from
the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division and
2. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing receipts and appropriations by $60 000 in the
Airport Grants Fund contingent upon receipt of the grant from TxDOT
DISCUSSION
The City of Fort Worth has received a grant offer from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to
provide needed routine maintenance items at Fort Worth Alliance Airport with a total eligibility amount of
$60 000 The City's share of the grant match funds will be fifty percent (50%) of the eligible project costs
or $30 000 whichever is less. Alliance Air Services, the City's manager of Fort Worth Alliance Airport, will
provide this share by paying 50% of each invoice directly to the vendor The remaining 50% will be paid by
the City and reimbursed by TxDOT The proposed project at Fort Worth Alliance Airport will consist of
airport maintenance and other incidental items as approved by the State
Fort Worth Alliance Airport is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that upon approval of the above recommendations, receipt of the grant and
adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance funds will be available in the current capital budget, as
appropriated of the Airport Grants Fund
