AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING A DEDICATED UTILITY
EASEMENT ADJOINING THE NORTH LINE OF LOTS 1 AND 2,
BLOCK 3, SANDYLAND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 388-H,
PAGE 419, PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described dedicated utility easement
be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as an easement for utilities:
A six foot wide utility easement adjoining the
north line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Sandyland
Addition, extending from the west line of Lot 1
to the east line of Lot 2 of said Block 3, as
recorded in Volume 388-H, page 419, Plat Records
of Tarrant County, Texas.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement is hereby released and shall re-
vert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage.

915/63 PZ-74 PROPOSED CLOSING OF UTILITY EASEMENT 1 of
Safeway Stores, Inc. has under option the purchase of property adjoining the
east line of Beach Street extending from Belknap Street to Wheeler Street.
To permit better utilization of the property, it has requested that the City
close and permanently abandon the 6 foot wide utility easement extending
.across the north and of Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Sandyland Addition. A plat
showing the location of the easement is attached.
The private utility companies have been consulted and offer no objection
to the proposed closing ,as they have no lines existing and none proposed
in this easement. The Public Works Department, Traffic Engineering De-
partment, Water Department and Planning Department, have no objections
to closing the easement.
The City Plan Commission, on August 14, 1963, recomended that the requested
easement closing be approved, permanently abandoning the 6 foot wide easement
extending across the north end of Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Sandyland Addition,
as recorded in Volume 388-H, Page 419, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas.
