AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE TEN FOOT
UTILITY EASEMENT CROSSING LATS 1 AND 2, RIDGLEA
PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND LYING ADJACENT TO LOT "A"
OF SAID ADDITION! AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION
OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN
SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS s
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described utility easement be and
the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanent-
ly abandoned as an easement for public utilitiess
Beginning at a point in the east right-of-way
line of wastridge Avenue (an 80 foot public street),
said point being in a curve whose radius is 1183.35
feet, said point bearing S. 04059122" E., 5.07 feet
from the northwest corner of said Lot 1 and the
southwest corner Of Lot "A", Ridglea Park Addition,
as recorded in Vol. 388-66, page 39, Plat Records
of Tarrant County, Texasr
Thence S. 85013' E. 198.3 feet along a line 5.0
feet southerly from and parallel to the north line
of said Lot 1 to an angle point!
Thence N. 77037' E., continuing along a line 5.0
feet southerly frown and parallel to said north
line of said Lot 1, at 23.65 feet pass a point in
the east line of said Lot 1 and the west line of
said Lot 2 and continuing along a line 5.0 feet
southerly from and parallel to the north line of
said Lot 2, in all a distance of 265.0 feet to a
point in the east line of said Lot 2 and the west
line of Lot 3-R, Ridglea Park Addition to the City
of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded
in Vol. 388/49, page 75, Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, said point being the and of the
centerline herein described.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided
by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

that the City vacate a 10 foot utility easement crossing Lots 1 and 2 of
BAILIFF RErz Ridglea Park Addition a length of approximately 463 feet adjacent to Lot A,
iR 4 ROBiS. Ridglea Park Addition, as shown on the attached map.
Nut, NSANTE RE Subject easement, acquired by dedication, is not in use and contains no
public facilities.

Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no objections
GAS to this request provided a satisfactory replat of this property is provided.
w000 The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an
ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as requested. A satisfactory
replat has been submitted to the City staff.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating easement as
recommended by the City Plan Commission.
