ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATING,
ABANDONING AND CLOSING OF THE SOUTH 10
FEET OF CULLEN STREET ABUTTING THE EN-
TIRE LENGTH OF LOTS 1A, 2, 3 AND 4 OF
BLOCK 18, BAILEY` S INDUSTRIAL ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUN-
TY, TEXAS, AND FOR THE REVERSION OF THE
INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN
SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EF-
FECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the south 10 feet of Cullen Street abutting the
entire length of Lots IA, 2, 3 and 4 of Block 18, Bailey' s
Industrial Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant Coun-
ty, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and
permanently vacated as a right-of-way.
SECTION 2 .
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said street above described is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided
by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

The Klein Meat Company, owner of the abutting property, has requested that the
City vacate the south ten (10) feet of the 100 foot right-of-way of Cullen Street
for a length of 393 feet. Subject right-of-way abuts the north property lines
of Lots 1A, 2, 3, and 4 of Block 18, Bailey's Industrial Addition as shown on
the attached map.
If this request is granted, the applicant intends to utilize the vacated right-
of-way for additional building area. Subject portion of the right-of-way was
acquired by dedication and is not paved.
City Departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and
4ave no objections provided the applicant plats the vacated right-of-way with
adjoining property.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption
of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested subject to the
condition recommended by the City Departments and private utility companies.
The applicant has submitted a replat as requested by the City Plan Commission.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right-of-way
as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
