That the saloon limits, being the limits and district within which the business of selling or trending intoxi�ating liquors at retail to be drunk an the premises my be lawfully conducted within the City of Fort Worth.be and the same are hereby fixed and prescribed as follows to-witf Beginning at a point on the south line of Belknap street 100 feet west of Houston street; thence south to the south line of Weatherford street; thence west to the east line of Taylor street; thence south 100 feet on Tay4eer street; thence earn parallel with south lids of Weatherford street to a point 100 feet west of Routon street; thence south on a line 100 to feet west of the west line of Houston street to the south line of Seventh street] thence west on the south line of Seventh street to a point 100 feet west of Throckrmorton street; thence south 200 foot thence east to the west line of Throuk• morton street; thence south along the west line of Throckraorton street and Jennings Ave., to the south line of Jackson street; thence west 100 feet along the south line of Jackson street; thence south 100 feet west of and parallel with the west line of Jsnninga Ave;, to the north line of the Texas & Pacific: Railway Co.'s Reservation; thence east along the north line of said Reservation to the eaat line of ,gain Street; thence south along the east line of Nd n Street to juggett Ate., ; thence eau t along the north line of Daggett Ave., to the H. & T. As a police regulation and for the purpose of enabling the Commissioners to proplrly regulate and control the rdtail liquor traffic within said City and proporly police the territory in which esid business is carried on and properly restrain and protect the citizens of said City, the aforseaid boundaries are fixed and designated and they are to remain as and be the saloon limits of the City of port Worth, until such t1jue as the &&we may be okwwged or madi fied by ordinances duly passed for that purpose* Sec, S. That no license or hermit shall be granted or Issued by the Wity of port worth or any of its officers or emtplayes to any person or p roone , firm or corporations or to any persons foF them to engage in the selling of spirituous vinous or salt liquors or any other intoxicating bene rage at retail to be drum on the premises within the corporate lmmsitse or district as hereinbefore defined and presoribode Sea. 3. That no person , firu , Company, association or corporation shall hereafter be authorised or permitted,= the aforesaid business whithin the corporate Umaits of the City of Fort North except as hereinbefore prescribed, Seo. 4. That any officer or employ* of the City of Fort Worth Who shall hereafter grant or issue or caused to be gr#Ated or issued any retail liquor license to any person, fire, oompany association, or oorpora►tion to engage in the selling of spirituous, vinous or malt liquors or 4a may otb r intoxicstIng beverage at retail to be drunk on the promises ;ithin the oorporato Units of the Cit$ of Fort Worth,oxcept within the district,," h.=reinbefore prescribed shall be fined in anq s» not lose than Twenty-five dollars and no more than two hundred dollars. Seo. S. That any person, firm, company association or corporation who shall hereafter engage in the selling of spirituous,vinous or malt liquors or airy other intoxioating beverage at retail within the CVW of ]Mrt Worth at arW plana odtside of or beyond the saloon limits hereinbefore prescribed orfixed shall be guilty of a min-demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall lie fined in any sum not less than twenty-rive dollars nor more than two hundred dollars, and each day in wh9ch Much person , firm , asociation or corporation shall so engage in suah sale or business shall be and constitute a separate and distinct offense/ sec. 6. That all persons, firms, companies, associations or corporations now engaged in the business of selling of spirituous, vinous or halt liquors or otle r intoxicating beverpies at retail to be drunk onthe preni.ses within the City of Fort worth at places outside of and beyond the saloon limits as herf-inbsfwre prescribed who so operate and coen&ot said business under a license or permit granted or issued at any time by the said City of Fort Worth whether priaro(Or subseq*ent to the adoption of the present City charter of the City of Fort lot th shall cease to do business and carry on same at such place or perces at the time this ordinance goes Snto effsat and the said license shall at that time be and become and the same is hereby declared to be null and void and the said per s ons, firm, c ompa nisea:., associations or corporations shall be entitled to a re fUn, or Xeeturn on the same of money for the unexpired time ►, i shall bear the same proportion to the entire coat of such license as the unexpired time which said license had yet to run bears to the whole length of time for which such lifense was issued, which said refund and return A&A. %a Mde on application of the A-.,<7v 11L a&OI party entitled theret4Rby ori ®f the Board of Counissioners of the City of Fort Worth* Sec. 4.
