HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 515 f# mat ORDINANCE•No.c:5 An Ordinance designating the points at which vehicles carrying passengers for hire may stand while waiting for em- ployment at and about the Texas & Pacific Railroad Depot, at the foot of Main Street in the City of Fort Worth. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: SEC. I. The following points at and about the Texas & Pacific Depot at the foot of Main Street in the City of Fort Worth are hereby designated as places where vehicles carrying passengers for hire may stand while waiting for enployment; on the East Side of South Main Street between the Texas & Pacific tracts on the South acid the South line of the main entrance to the Depot, not more than four vehicles; on the North two transfers or omnibusses ust South of the new park and two other passenger carrying vehicles between these two and the telephone pole North of the Texas and Pacific tracts, on the West side of South ?lain Street; one vehicle on the North side of Front Street just West of Main Street; two vehicles on 'the North- side of West Front Street between the West line of the South entrance to the Terminal Hotel and Houston Street. SEC. 2. This Ordinance shall not in any manner affect other ordinances on the same subject or any other traffic ordinance or regulation, but is hereby expressly declared to be cumulative thereof and subject to all the regulations thereof, except such as are herein specially set out. SEC. 3•. Any person violditing any of the provisions of this ordinance or any person failing or refusing to observe the regulations herein prescribed shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not ]ess b than ,#5.00 and not more than $25.00 for each and every offense. SEC./0. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and five days .publication as required by law. Approved as to Forms Corporation Counsel. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Ordinanos was duly presented and unanimously passed and adopted by the Board of Com- missioners of the City of Fort Worth at a session of said Board hold Tuesday, May 16th, A.
