AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF

MERIDA AVENUE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF CASSELL
BOULEVARD TO 71E SOUTH LINE OF HAGLER AVENUE

OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
I.
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council of the
City of Fort North, that public necessity requires that
portions of certain streets and thoroughfares herein-
after described be abandoned, closed and vacated as
public thoroughfares in order that other streets, avenues
and thoroughfares may be straightendd and established in
such a manner that they may adequately meet the require-
ments of the Public and the demands of pedestrians and
vehicular traffic.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
SECTION I.
That the part of Lubbock Avenue in the City of
Fort Worth from the north line of Cassell Boulevard to
the south line of Hagler Avenue; that portion of Hagler
Avenue from the east line of Farmer Avenue to the west
line of Lubbock Avenue and that portion of Hagler Avenue
from the east line of Lubbock Avenue to a point 125 feet
east of the east line of Lubbock Avenue and thWt portion
of the alley lying between and parallel With Lubbock
Avenue from the north line of Cassell Boulevard to the
south linec:of Hagler Avenue be and all of said streets,
avenues and thoroughfares are hereby vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as streets, avenues and public
thoroughfares of every kind or character.
SECTION II.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
fall force and effect from and after the date of its
passage.
