HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2515 ORDINANCE NO. 1-SSS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2082, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE, OR OTHER PURPOSES, THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES, AND SIZE OF BUILD- INGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION, AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO SUCH DISTRICTS OF NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 2082; PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE: PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $50.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2082 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter described areas be altered, changed and amended as follows, to wit: RECOMMENDED CHANGE AREAS FROM TO i Lot 1, C. Evans Addition; Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 2, John M. Lamb Addition; Lbts 1 to 9 inclusive, Block 1, John M. Lamb Addition; Lots "B" "F" 9, 10 and 11, Block 13, Nies and Rouse Addition; Lots 1 to 11 inclusive, Block 9, Nies and Rouse Addition; West 100 feet of NJ Block 8, Nies and Rouse Addition; and, City Tracts 52 and 53, J. Little Survey (100, 200 and 300 Blocks N. Sylvania Avenue) Lot 9, Block 2; and, Lot 21, Block 1, all in Union Depot Addition "C" "E" (900 Block E. Bessie Street) Lots 1 to 11 inclusive, block 3, Garden Addition "A" "B" (1000 Block Cleckler Street) Lot 11, Block 9; Lot 20, Block 10; Lot 1, Block 15; and, Lot 10, Block 16 all in J. S. Smith Addition "B" "E" (100 Block Mason Street) Lots 4 and 5, Block 17; Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, Block 18; and, Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, Block 19, Belmont Addition; Lots 20 and 21, Block 7; Lots 16, 17, 20 and 21, Block 20; Lots 16 to 20 "B" & "E" "I" inclusive, Block 21; Lots 17 to 20 inclusive, Block 34; and, Lots 17 to 20 inclusive, Block 35, Ryan's Southeast Addition; and a strip of land 150 feet in width out of the D. Dulaney Survq along the East side of South Riverside Drive from Colvin Street to Judd Street (2500, 2600 and 2700 Blocks So. Riverside Drive) All of Block 4, Fyde-Jennings Subdivision of the "A" AFB" 8. G. Jennings Survey (2800 Block Handley Drive) Tract of land 150 feet in width out of the John Thorn- hill Survey, bounded on the North by Thornhill Street, on the East by Highway 81 and on the South "B" "E" and West by present "K" Heavy Industrial District (300 Block Thornhill Street) Lot 26, Block 22; Lots 1, 20 and 21, Block 23; and, Lots 2 and 3, Block 27, Westcliff Addition "A" "B" (3500 Block Plymouth Street) SECTION 2. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the Court to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 3. Amy person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or reuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five and no/100 Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Fifty and uo/100 Dollars ($50.00) for each offense.
