AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ACCESS ROAD ADJACENT TO
WHITE SETTLEMENT ROAD, FROM FOCH STREET TO CURRIE STREET;
CURRIE STREET, FROM WHITE SET'T'LEMENT ROAD TO TILLER STREET;
ADRIAN DRIVE,' FROM WHITE SETTLEMENT ROAD TO TILLER STREET;
TILLER STREET,FROM UNIVERSITY DRIVE TO WTMBERLY STREET,
SAVE AND EXCEPT A TEN FOOT STRIP AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
UNIVERSITY DRIVE; AND THE UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK 8,
BAILEY'S INDUSTRIAL ADDITION, FROM FOCH STREET TO CURRIE
STREET, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL
BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portions of streets and thoroughfares
in Bailey's Industrial Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever:
The access road adjacent to White Settlement Road, •
from Foch Street to Currie Street;
Currie Street, from White Settlement Road to Tiller
Street;
Adrian Drive, from White Settlement Road to Tiller
Street; and
Tiller Street, from University Drive to Wimberly Street,
save and except a ten foot strip at its intersection with
University Drive.
That the utility easement in Block 8, Bailey's Industrial Addition
to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from Foch Street to
Currie Street, be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and
Permanently abandoned as an easement for public utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said streets and easement above de-
scribed is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as pro-
vided by law, save and except that an easement sufficiently wide to con-
struct and maintain a sanitary sewer line along the private access road
from Foch Street to University Drive is expressly reserved.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION .
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef-
fect from and after the date of its passage.
