AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4-2 OF ORDINANCE
#1859 DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES OF FIRE ZONE
TW , AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 1527.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TEAS:
SECTION I.
That Section 4-2 of Ordinance #1399 being a de-
scription of Fire Zone Two and setting out the boundaries of
Fire Zone Two shall hereafter read as follows:
"SECTION 4-2
ZONE TWO
Zone Two shall and is hereby declared to in-
clude all the area within the following boundaries,
excepting that area included in Zone One, as above
described, viz:
Beginning at a point on Bluff Street where
North Commerce would intersect and extending north-
westerly
orthwesterly along North Commerce to Eleventh Street,
thence west on Eleventh to a point one hundred (100)
feet northeast of east property line on North Main,
thence northwesterly and parallel to said North
Dain to Twentieth Street, thence west to a point
one hundred fifty (150) feet east of east property
line on North Main, thence north and parallel to
North Main to Marine Creek and along west bank of
Marine Creek to Twenty-fifth Street, thence west
on Twenty-fifth to North Houston, thence south on
North Houston to Twenty-fourth, thence east on
Twenty-fourth to a point one hundred forty (140)
feet west of west property line on North gain Street,
thence south and parallel to North Main to Twentieth
Street, thence west on Twentieth to Ellis avenue,
thence southeasterly on Ellis to Central Avenue,
thence west on Central to a point one hundred forty
(140) feet west of west property line of North Main,
thence southeasterly and maintaining a distance of
one hundred forty (140) feet from North Main to
Twelfth Street, thence west on Twelfth to North
Houston Street, thence southeasterly on North Houston,
and extensions of North Houston to Bluff Street,
thence westerly along Bluff to North Henderson Street

thence south on North Henderson to a point one hundrea
(100) feet north of neatherford Street, thence westerly
and maintaining a distance of one hundred (100) feet
north of north property line on -eatherford to a point
where Fournier Street would intersect, thence south on
extension of Fournier to a point one hundred forty (140)
feet north of north property line of :.eat Seventh Street,
thence west and maintaining a distance of one
hundred forty (140) feet north of said north
property line of Heat Seventh Street to Bailey
Avenue, thence south on Bailey and Burleson
Street to a point one hundred forty (140) feet
south of south property line of West Seventh,
thence east and maintaining a distance of one
hundred forty (140) feet south of said south
property line on West Seventh to a point one
hundred fifty (150) feet west of west property
line on Penn Street, thence south and maintaining
a distance of one hundred fifty (150) feet from
said west property line of Penn Street to West
Lancaster Street, thence east on Lancaster to
Lake Street, thence south on Lake to Railroad
Avenue, thence east on Railroad to Henderson
Street, thence south on Henderson to Daggett,
thence east on Daggett to a point one hundred
(100) feet west of west property line on South
Main Street, thence south and maintaining a
distance of one hundred (100) feet west of said
west prorty line of South Main to a point one
hundred �00) feet north of north property line
of Magnolia, thence west and maintaining a distance
of one hundred (100) feet north of said north prop-
erty line of Magnolia to Eighth avenue, thence south
on Eighth to a point one hundred (100) feet south of
south property line of Magnolia, thence east and
maintaining a distance of one hundred (100) feet
south of said south property line of Magnolia to a
point one hundred (100) feet east of east property
line of South Main Street, thence north and main-
taining a distance of one hundred (100) feet east
of said east property line of couth Main to
Elizabeth Street, thence east on Elizabeth to South
Boaz, thence north on Boaz to Railroad Avenue ,
thence east on Railroad to Pine Street thence
north on Pine to a point one hundred (100) feet
north of north property line of East Lancaster,
thence west and maintaining a distance of one hundred
(100) feet north of said north property line of East
Lancaster to intersection with Fort Worth and Denver
City Railway, thence north along Fort Worth and Denver
City Railway to East Fifth Street, thence west on
Fifth to intersection with Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe
Railway, thence north along the Gulf, Colorado & Santa
Fe to a point one hundred (100) feet north of north
property line on East Second Street, thence west and
maintaining a distance of one hundred (100) feet from
said north property line of Second Street to Grove
Street, thence north on Grove to Bluff Street, thence
west on Bluff to point of beginning."
SECTION II.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances on con-
flict herewith, including Ordinance No. 1527, shall hereafter
and are hereby repealed and of no further force and effect.
SECTION III.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
