BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUi:CIL OF TiE CITY OF FOi T WORTH: Section 1. That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the City of Port Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort forth and said tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about 10 miles south from the Court House of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the Joseph Martin, Sarah Gray, John Steele, William Stone, J. E. Phillips, Henry Lane, S. A. and i�,. G. h.R.. Co., John Sise, J. Jennings & E. H. Hamilton Surveys. BEGINNING at a point in the west right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 81 (South), (Interstate I-35W) at its intersection with the south right-of-way line of County- Rd. No. 1078. THENCE southerly along the westerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 81 (South) to its intersection with the south line of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE west along the south line of Tarrant County, Texas, to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of the M. K. and T. R.R. Co. right-of-way; THENCE northerly along the easterly right-of-way line of the I,. K. and T. R.R. to its intersection with the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1078; THFNCE east along the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1078 to the Place of Beginning and containing approximately 1.8 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in con- flict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance 4384, heretofore adopted and passed on October 28, 1962, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordi- nance shall be and is hereby, :Wade cumulative. Section 3. If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent ,jurisdiction, the portion so held to be invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect any other part of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. This ordinance, after it has been duly passed, shall be enterod as an order on the minutes and permanent records of the City of Fort worth, from and after the date of its entry, the territory hereinbefore described shall cease to be a part of the City of Fort Worth. Section 5. That this Ordinance shall become effective and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, and it is so ordained. Passed and adopted this r day of > f , � , 1963.
