AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING A DEDICATED
SMTTARY SEWER EASEMENT TSN FEET IN WIDTH AND
APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FEET IN
LENGTH LOCATED ALONG THE COMMON LOT LINE OF
LATS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 2, PEARL SLAUGHTER SUBDI-
VISIM TO THE CITY OF FORT NORTH, TARRANT
CMITY, TEXASr AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVER-
SION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the dedicated sanitary sewer easement ten feet in
width and approximately one hundred and forty feet in length
located along the ccoxm lot line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2,
Pearl Slaughter Subdivision to the City of Fort Worth, Tar-
rant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby extinguished,
vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an easement
for sanitary sewer facilities.
SECTION 2,.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
fora and effect from and after the date of its passage.

common lot line of Lots'-1 and 2, Block 2, Pearl Slaughter Sub. , as shown on
the attached map: The-subject- easement, acquired by dedication, contains
an existing sanitary- sewer line that was installed to serve Lots 1 and 2
only. The Water- Hepartment- concurs with the Applicant's request to abandon
the subject easemen-t-and-the sewer segment located therein. Blocks 1 and 2
along with the vacated portion of Hulen Street have been replatted into a
single tract in order to provide a unified site for a proposed apartment
complex. City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this
request and have no objections. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this
request and recommends that an ordinance be adopted vacating the easement
as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject easement
as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
