AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A 15 FOOT ALLEY 403.5 FEET EASTWARD FROM UNIVERSITY DRIVE ADJACENT TO LOTS 1-11 AND 20-24, BLOCK 6, UNIVERSITY PLACE ADDITION; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That a 15 foot alley 403.5 feet eastward from University Drive adjacent to Lots 1-11 and 20-24, Block 6, University Place Addition, be and the same is hereby vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as an alley. SECTION 2. That the fee to the lands in the above described vacated alley is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT easements are reserved therein for any and all existing utilities including the existing sanitary sewer, telephone and electric distribution facilities. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so ordained. Thot City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends approval subject to conditions. These conditions have now been satisfied. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject right- of-way as requested.
