An ordinance amending Sections 687 aid 688 of Chapter 3,
Title 6, of the Revised Or&inanbes of the City of Fort Worth-and
repealing Section 690 of said Chapter and Title of said Revised
Ordinances as codified by Win. D. Will Ens xnd T. J. PONTeV .
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City
Sec. 1. That Section 687, of Chapter 7, Title 6, of the
Revised Ordinances of the City, of Fort Worth, as codified by Wm. D.
Williams and T. J. Powell be amended so as to read as follows, to-
wit:
Sec. 687. All that portion of the territory of the city
of Fort Worth within and bounded by the following described lines or
limits shall constitute and be the fire limits of the city:
Beginning at a point on the south line of Bluff Street at
its intersection with the eatst, line of Houston Street; thence south-
erly along the east line of Houston Street to its intersection with
the south line of Belknap Street; thence westerly along the said
south line mf Belknap Street to its intersection with the east line
of Talyor Street; thence southerly along said east line of Ta.lyor
Street to its intersection with the north line of West First Street;
thence easterly- along t
d north line of West Firsts Street to a point
100 feet west of Throckmorfon Street; thence following the 100 foot
line west of Throckmorton Street to a point where Throckmorton and
Manroe Streets intersect; thence- following the line 100 feet west of

Monroe Street south to the nArth bide of Texas & pacific Railroad
Reservation ; thence along tlie- north line of Texas & pacific Railroad.
Reservation to the east line of Jones Street; thence along the east
line of Jones Street to the south line of Ninth Street; thence west
along the south line of Ninth Street to the east line of Calhoun

Street; thence north to the south line of Seventh Street; thence west.

along the south line of Seventh Street to a point 100 feet east of
Rusk Street; thence north along this 100 foot line east of Rusk

Street to the south line of Bluff Street; thence along the south
line of Bluff Street to the place of beginning.
Sec. 2. That Sec. 688 of Chatter 3, Title 6; of the
Revised Ordinances of the City of Fort Worth, as codified by Wm. D.
Williams and T. J. Powell be ammended so as to read as follows, to-wit
Sec. 688. Any person or persons, firm or corporation, who

tent of fifty per cent of its original, cost value, or who shall
make any addition other than of brick or stone, to any building in
said fire limits shall be punished by -a fine of rot less than ten
dollars nor more than fifty dollars for each and every day during
which said pkohibited structure shall remain within said fire limits.
See. That Sec.690 Chapter 3, Title 6 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Fort Worth as codified by Wm. D. Williams
and T. J. Powell be and the same are hereby repealed.
Sec`. 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed and that
this ordinance be in effect from and after its passage and publi-
cation as required,by law.
I hereby certify the above anfd foregoigg ordinance was pres#nted
and unanimously passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Fort Worth, at a session held June 18th, 1907.
