AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO.
4009 ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE 31ST DAY
OF DECEMBER, 1958, AND BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROV-
ING CERTAIN SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
VARIOUS STREETS AND SETTING A DATE FOR TEE ADVER-
TISEMENT OF BIDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 4009 adopted by the City Council on
the 31st day of December, 1958, be amended and after being so amended shall
read as follows:
That the City Secretary is hereby directed to advertise
for Bids for the construction of the said improvements in
accordance with the said Specifications, which advertisement
shall be inserted one or more times in the Fort Worth Star-
Telegram, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Fort Worth, and shall call for sealed Bids for the said work,
to be filed with-the City Council on or before the 3rd day of
March, 1959, at 10:00 A. M. upon which date shall be opened
and read as prescribed by the City Charter. That the first
publication of said advertisement shall be not less than ten
(10) days before the date herein set for opening of Bids.
Section 2.
That Ordinance No. 4009 shall in all other respects remain in full
force and effect.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
