ORDINANCE NO. CITY SECRETARY
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF CIMARON TRAIL IM- FT. MRTiI, M.
MEDIATELY SOUTH OF U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 80 BE VACATED, ABANDONED
AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IhREDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TE W:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portion of CJ— on Trail in Western
Hills Addition, Sections 2 & 4, to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever:
Beginning at a point in the east line of Lot 1, Block 26,
Western Hills Addition, Section 4, said point being south 0 de-
grees 52 minutes west a distance of 34.83 feet from the north-
east corner of Lot 1;
Thence north 0 degrees 52 minutes east a distance of 381.25
feet along the west right of way line of Cimnaron Trail;
Thence south 88 degrees 41 minutes east a distance of 70.09
feet to a point, said point being the northwest corner of Tract
A, Block 1, Western Hills Addition, Section 2;
Thence south 0 degrees 52 minutes west a distance of 185.07
feet along the west line of Tract A;
Thence south 37 degrees 33 minutes west a distance of 15.75
feet;
Thence southerly along a curve to the left whose radius is
306.35 feet and whose center bears south 52 degrees 27 minutes
east a distance of 306.35 feet through a central angle of 36 de-
grees 42 minutes a distance of 196.22 feet to the point of be-
ginning, and containing .3983 of an acre more or less.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will re-
vert to the adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
fram and after the date of its passage.

The portion of Gin on Trail herein described containing .3983 Acres is Western
Hills Addition Sections 2 & 4, to the City of Pbrt Worth, Tarrant County, Tezas,
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the 3ast line of Lot 1, Block ?0 Western Hills Addition
Section 4. Said point being South 0 degrees, 52 minute& West a distance of 34.83'
from the northeast corner of Lot 1.
TE13NOB 'North 0 degrees, 52 minutes, East a distance of 381.251 along the West
right—of—Way line of Cimmaron Trail.
THENCE South 88 degrees, 41 minutes East a distance of 70.091 to a point. Said
point being the northwest corner of Tract A, Block 1, Western Hills Addition,
Section 2.
THENCE Sollth 0 degrees, 52 minutes West a distance of 185.071 along the West line
of Tract A.
THENCE Soh 37 degrees, -13 minutes West a distance of 15.751 .

Members of the City Council Ret Proposed Closing of Cimmaron
City of fort Worth Trail at U. S. Highway No.
80, Project Nos. 97-FO-2 and
94-F-12, CIP A-171
Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen:
On August 18, 1961 , the City Council awarded a contract to Glade Construc-
tion Company for the reiocatibn and paving of Cimmeron Trail at U. S.
Highway No. 80. Agreements have been made with the property owner whereby
tine abandoned portion of Cimnlaron Trail is to be closed.
The City :Tanning Department, the Public Works Department and the Traffic
Engineering Department have investigated this project and concur in the
proposed closing of the abandoned portion of Cinmaron Trail .-
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted for the closing of a portion
of Cimmaron Trail immediately south of U. S. Highway NO-80.
