PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LANDY RZPSALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT 118RWrTHY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Franawood Court from Frar&%)od Terrace to Bradford Place, adjacent to Blocks 21 and 22, Brentwood Sills Aftition to the City of Fort worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thoroWhfare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the tee to the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner rif the .fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or pasta of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby rmW led. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take affect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. Messer, owner of all adjoining land, has requested that the City vacate Franwood Court from Franwood Terrace to Bradford Place adjacent to Blocks 21 and 22, Brentwood Hills Addition, as shown on the attached map. Subject right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is unimproved. If this request is granted, the Applicant intends to replat and to utilize the vacated right- of-way for additional building area. City Departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objections provided the vacated right-of-way is replatted with adjoining property. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested. The Applicant has submitted a satisfactory replat. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
