AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO AND CHANGING THE LIMITS
OF THE FOURTH WARD BY PLACING THEREIN WHAT IS
KNOWN AS THE LAKE WORTH PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Section 1:
The boundary lines of the Fourth Ward are hereby
amended, enlarged and changed so as to include the following
described land within the city limits: All that certain land
covered by the waters of Lake Worth and adjacent to and
surrounding Lake Worth, including a strip of lend 30 feet
wide, the center of which begins at a point in the West line
of the city limits 15 ft. North of the South line of the
Arlington Heights Boulevard, this point being 85 ft. South
of the North line of the J.M.C.Lynoh Survey, the same being
on the West edge of the present limits or west line of the
Fourth Ward as they exist now, the said strip of land 30 ft.
wide extending from said beginning point to the Lake Worth
Dam where it connects with Lake Worth and the large body
of land purchased and condemned by the City of Fort Worth
in connection with the building of said Lake and dam, and
which said territory was annexed to the City of Fort Worth
by Ordinance No. 513, and passed May the 16th, 1916, and
fully described by metes and bounds therein, and to which
reference is here made.
