HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 3330 oRDnma N0. 3 3 30 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 3011, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE, OR OTHER MPOSES, THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURE'S, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION; AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FRCHM THE USES AS SHAT ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 3011; PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 3011 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter described areas be altered, changed and amended as follows to Witt RECOMMENDED CHANGE AREAS FRW TO Lots 4 through 10, Greve's Addition "B" KC" (900 Block of Conner Avenue) Lots 11 through 16, Block 29; and Lots 1 and 2. Block 30, Prospect Heights Addition; and Livingston Street between said blocks (Street closed by Ordinance No. 3289) "B" "I" (2000 Block of Bowie Street) Lots 1 and 2, Block 20; and Lots 1 through 7, Block 19, Lakeview Addition "B" "J"' (1400 and 1450 Blocks of Irma Street) Lots 1 through 7, Block 3, Westgate Addition "Be "E" (100 Blk. Blanch Circle and 3200 Blk. Wingate) Lot ll, Block 57, and Lot 11, Block 58, Ridglea Addition "A° "B" (6450 Block of Waverly Way) The East one-half of Lot 14, and all of Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block 3, Zihlman Addition "C" "De (3600 Bik. Mattison and 1000 Blk. Mongtomery) All of Block 32, Jennings West Addition "A" "J" (Bounded by 1400 Blks. W. 7th and 10th Sts. and 800 Blks. Summit Ave. and Ballinger St.) Lots 33 through 40, Block 52; and Lots 21, 22, 23 and 24, Block 53, Chamberlin Arlington Addition "C" "F" (5800 and 5900 Blks. Donnelly Avenue) Tract 1, Texas & Pacific Railway Company Survey No. 1; and Tract k, John Jennings Survey, annexed by Ordinance No. 3290 Annexed "A" Area The East 21 feet of Lot 4, all of Lots 5, 18 and the East 20 feet of Lot 19, the West 75 feet of Lot 6, and the West 100 feet of Lot 17, Block 147, Clark's Addition, excluding that portion on the west end for right-of-way for the North-South Freeway "C" "Ea (1100 Blk. of Morgan and Luella Streets) The West 58.7 feet of Tract 1-A, L. Wetmore Survey "B" "g" (600 Block of Seminary Drive) Lot 338, Block 13; and Lot 334, Block 12, Hyde Park Addition "B" "E" (800 Block of E. Powell Street) SECTION 2. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the Court to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five and No/100 Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 4. This Ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
