AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT WOODCREST DRIVE FROM THE SOUTH
LINE OF LOT 13, BLACK 17, CLYDE W. MAYS ADDITION, TO THE
NORTH LINE OF LAT.1 OF SAID BLOCK 17; CARSWELL STREET FROM.
THE EAST LINE OF WOODCREST DRIVE TO THE WEST LINE OF CHURCHILL
ROAD; AND ROCKWOOD STREET FROM THE EAST LINE OF WOODCREST
DRIVE TO THE WEST LINE OF CHURCHILL ROAD BE VACATED, ABAN_
DONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN
SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; .
AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IM_
MEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH., TEXAS.
SECTION 1.
That the following described streets in Clyde W. Mays Addition to the
City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby closed,
abandoned and permanently vacated as streets or public thoroughfares of any
kind or character whatever:
Woodcrest Drive from the south line of Lot 13, Block 17,
Clyde W. Mays Addition, to the north line of Lot 1 of said Block 17;
Carswell Street from the east line of Woodcrest Drive to the
west line of Churchill Road; and
Rockwood Street from the east line of Woodcrest Drive to the
west line of Churchill Road.
SECTION 2,
That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will re-
vert to the adjacent owner as provided by law,
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here-
by repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
