AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SPECIFICA'T'IONS
FILED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORM FOR
THE IMPROMMUT OF PORTIONS OF STREETS IN
BAILEYtS INDUSTRIAL ADDITION, ITT THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
BE IT ORMINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the Director of Public Works having on the day of
January, 1949, filed with the City Council complete Specifications for
the improvement of Cullen Street, from the easterly line of Foch Street
to the west edge of pavement on Jacksboro Highway; Foch Street, from
the northerly line of White Settlement Road to the northerly line of
Cullen Street; Rupert Street, from the northerly line of White Settle-
ment Road to the southerly line of Cullen Street; and Access Road, adja-
cent to White Settlement Road, from the easterly line of Foch Street to
the easterly line of Carroll Street, and tle City Council having examined
said Specifications, the same be and are hereby approved as the Specifica-
tions under which said work shall be done.
Section 2.
That the City Secretary is hereby directed to advertise for bids for
construction of the said improvements in accordance with the said Specifi-
cations, which advertisement shall be inserted one or more times in the
Fort Worth Star Telegram, a newspaper of general circulation in the City
of Fort Worth, and shall call for sealed bids for the said work, to be
filed with the City Council on or before the day of
, 1949, At 10:00 o'clock A.M.,_upon which date shall be opened
and read as prescribed by the City Charter. That the first publication of
said advertisement shall be not less than ten (10) days before the date
herein set for opening bids.
Section 3.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
