. 1n9 REA.
The owner of Tots 7 thru 10, Block H, William James Addition, has requested
the official closing of a portion of an unopened alley extending north of
Camilla Street to the Beach Street right-of-way. (See attached plat). The
City of Fort Worth owns residue portions of Tots 2-6, Block F, William James
Addition, adjoining the east line of the proposed alley vacation, which were
acquired in connection with the Beach Street improvements.
The Public Works, Traffic Engineering, and Planning Departments agree that
closing this portion of the alley is-desirable and permits more desirable de-
velopment of the adjoining property. Private utility companies were contacted
and have no objection to the proposed closing.
At the meeting May 8, 1963, the City Plan Commission reviewed the request and
recommended that this section of alley be closed. It is therefore recomAended
that an ordinance be adopted closing this section of alley.
