BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOX?,D OF CMUlISSIONERS OF THE CITY 07 ''ORT VIORTH: Section 1. That hereafter it $hall be unlawful to establish, ke p or maintain upon any side-walk, street or public thoroughfare within the corporate limits of the Cit,,- of Tort '--orth, any booth, stand, stall, tent, vehicle, push-cart, or device of any kind or character whatsoever a;"s.ich is used a me.ins, repository or re- ceptacle for carryi..g on or pursuing the business. of vending or selling nesispaper* notions, ffuits, vegetables, _)roduce, popcorn, candies ;)eana", confections, edibles, or any other Like or unlike ::And or character of property,Jgoods, wares or -erchandise of any description *Whatsoever, whey .er1 herein s; ecificdlly enumerated or not. Provided, however, that the provisions of this ordinance are not intended to apply to itinerant venders, who conti,_ually move about from place to place and who do not occupy the streets or side-walks or any part thereof as a permanent or stationary place for the conduct of their bubiness. Provided, fi-rther, that this ordinance shall not be_., construed to prevent any merchant occupying a store or building along and upon the streets and thoroughfaresof said City of -port North from exhibiting merchandise or wares in s3 ow windows of said stores or bu- ..,:.ings, or selling t_. ern-Prom so far as not now prohibited Uy law or ordinance of the City. Provided, further, that this ordinance shall not be construed to pkomit or allow any person to block or obstruct the streets or side-walks of the City of ?ort Worth ..or rse the streets or sidewalks contrary to the provisions ofY`" ordinance now in existence prohibiting the same Section 2.
