The Public Works Department has requested that the street be physically closed with curb and gutter, for which satisfactory arrangements have been made. City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objections provided a satisfactory replat is submitted retaining the vacated right-of-way as an easement. A satisfactory replat has been sub- mitted to the City staff. The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject right-of-way as requested. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject right- of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
