AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT HAGLER STREET FROM
THE EAST LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 4, PROSPECT HEIGHTS
ADDITION, WESTWARD TO McCART AVENUE AND A TRIANGULAR
PORTION OF THE MCCART AVEDZE RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT
TO THE WEST LINE OF LOT loo BLOCK 16, FRISCO HEIGHTS
ADDITION AND THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 4,
PROSPECT HEIGHTS ADDITION, BE VACATED, ABANDONED
AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE
INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS :
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described public rights-of way,
being portions of Hagler Street and McCart Avenue, be and
the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or character
whatever:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the
south line of Hagler Street and the present east
line of McCart Avenue;
THENCE east 10 feet north and parallel to the
north line of Lot 1, Block 4, Prospect Heights
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, a distance of
101 feet;
THENCE north perpendicular to the north line of
said Lot 1 approximately 23 .75 feet to a point in
the south line of Lot 10, Block 16, Frisco Heights
Addition to the City of Fort Worth;
THENCE west with the south line of said Lot 10
to the southwest corner of said Lot 10;
THENCE north with the west line of said Lot 10
a distance of 50 feet to the northwest corner of
said Lot 10;
THENCE north with the west line of said Lot 10
a distance of 50 feet to the northwest corner of
said Lot 10;
THENCE in a southwesterly direction to the point
of beginning, and containing portions of Hagler
Street and McCart Avenue.
SECTION 2 .
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said streets is hereby released and shall
revert to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3 .
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Jimmy DuBose and Lee Dickerson have requested that the City vacate Hagler
Street from the east line of Lot 1, Block 4, Prospect Heights Addition,
westward to McCart Street and a triangular portion of the McCart Street
right-of-way adjacent to the west line of Lot 10, Block 16, Frisco Heights
Addition as shown on the attached map.'
Subject rights-of-way, acquired by dedication, are unimproved. If this
request is granted, the Applicants intend to replat the vacated rights-of-
way with adjoining property.
City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request
a-ad have no objections provided the vacated rights-of-way are replatted
with adjoining property.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption
of an ordinance vacating the public rights-of-way as requested. The Appli-
cants have submitted a satisfactory replat. s

Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-
way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
