FILING, AND THE TES` FOOT UTILITY
ACROSS LO B-R IN BLOCK 32 OF SAID ADDITION
BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED, PROVIDING
FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST C ° T CITY
OF FORT WORTH IN SAID DO REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES

BE IT ORDAINED Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That -she south 10 feet of Lovell Avenue from Little-
page Street east to Camp Bowie Boulevard adjacent to Block 32,
Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, First Filing, an addi-
tion to the City of Fort 'forth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and
the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character
whatever, save and except that easements are reserved, for any
and all existing utilities and for a sidewalk.
SECTION 2.
That the 10-foot utility easement across Lot B-R,
Plock 32, Chamberlin Arlirngton. Heights Addition, First Filing,
be and the same is hereby extinguished, Vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as an easement for public utilities.
SECTION 3.
That the interest of the Cita of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said street and easement above described is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owners of the fee as
provided by lays.
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its "Dassage.

REED HI MAN Harris Hospital and Texas Wesleyan College, owners of all abutting
WILKES 8 ARM Property, have jointly requested that the City vacate extra right-
of-way on Lovell Avenue in the 5800 block along the south side, a
width of 10 feet and a length of 343 feet from Littlepage Street
east to Camp Bowie Blvd. adjacent to Lots A & B-R, and a 10 foot
�\ utility easement across Lot B-R a length of 150 feet, collinear
with the old lot lines of former Lots B & C, Block 32, Chamberlin
Arlington Heights Addition, 1st Filing as shown on the attached map.
The subject street right-of-way and utility easement were both ac-
quired by dedication. The easement, according to submitted reports,
contains no utility facilities. The street right-of-way is part of
the parkway and contains an existing sidewalk, a 6 inch sanitary
sewer line, and power and gas facilities. The existing curb is
10 foot north of the requested street vacation, therefore, a stan-
dard 10 foot parkway will remain.
The reviewing City departments and private utility companies have
reviewed this request and have no objections provided the vacated
right-of-way is replatted with abutting property and is retained as
an easement for existing utilities and sidewalk, and the existing
utility easement is deleted from the plat. A satisfactory replat
has been received by the City.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed thfs request and recommends
adoption of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject
street right-of-way and utility easement as recommended by the
City Plan Commission.
