DISCUSSION Recent changes in Criminal Justice Division Regulations regarding inkind match requires a change to the budget of the Domestic Assault Response Team Project. We are now limited in the amount of volunteer hours that can be credited to this project which has necessitated an increase in cash match. The transfer of $11 330 will allow the City to meet the required match for the DART project, which is funded by a state Criminal Justice Division (CJD) grant. These funds will be used to purchase equipment necessary for the operation of the program including digital cameras for photographing domestic assault injuries, handheld police radios and a projector and laptop computer to be used for training volunteers. FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION The Finance Director certifies that upon adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance, funds will be available in the current operating budget as appropriated of the grant fund.
