HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 160450/ ZO v4 1I ~y CVO ORDINANCE NO I ~p O T AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF BECKHAM PLACE BETWEEN 11TH AVENUE AND 12TH AVENUE, AND ALL OF 11TH AVENUE FROM BECKHAM PLACE TO THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT-OF WAY LINE OF WEST ROSEDALE STREET AND ALL ALLEYS IN AND THROUGH TREZEVANTS SUBDIVISION OF LOT 1 BLOCK 1 WEST VIEW ADDITION CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND• THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT the following streets and alleys A. A 100-foot portion of Beckham Place (formerly Dissel Place) from rts intersection with the easterly nght-of way line of 12`" Avenue) formerly Leslie Street) to its intersection with the projected easterly nght-of way hne of 11`" Avenue (formerly Hudson Avenue) with the southerly nght-of way hne of said Beckham Place and being m the westerly hne of the former Ft. W & R.G RY and B All of 11`" Avenue from Beckham Place to the southerly nght-of way line of West Rosedale Street (formerly Trezevant Avenue), West View Addition, Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas, and C All alleys m and through Trezevants Subdivision of Lot 1 Block 1 West View Addition, Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas, containing 21,600 square feet as found m Volume 204 Page 37 plat records, Tarrant County Texas and as more specifically described m Exhibit `B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land m the above described street and alley nghts-of way is released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That afll existing utility easements shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances m conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption. W & R.G RY (a 100' right-of-way) and all of 11th Avenue from said intersection to the southerly right-of-way line of West Rosedale Street (formerly Trezevant Avenue) and all of the alleys in and through Trezevants Subdivision of lot 1 block 1 West View Addition as found in Volume 204 Page 37 plat records, Tarrant County Texas, containing 21 600 square feet. The City of Fort Worth s Real Property Management, owner of the above-described property has requested vacation of the above referenced Streets and Alleys in order to proceed- with site expansion for Fire Station No 8 The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
