..-~--~ ORDIN ANCE NO. ~J'~J' AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF 20 FOOT WIDE BY 100 FOOT LONG ALLEY PORTIONS OF ELM STREET EAST BLUFF STREET EAST PEACH STREET AND NORTH CUMMINGS STREET AND A 11 FOOT WIDE BY 200 FOOT DEDICATION TRACT FOR PECAN STREET EXTENSION ALL LOCATED IN BLOCKS 123 AND 124 IN THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF FORT WORTH AND THE CUMMINGS ADDITION, CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND• THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT the following streets and alleys. A. A 20-foot wide by 100-foot long portion of an alley 1}nng south of East Bluff Street m Block 123 of the Original Town of Fort Worth, an unrecorded addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas, and containing 0 045 acres, more or less, per Exhibit A and B Portions of Elm Street, East Bluff Street, and east Peach Street, being approximately 60 feet wide by 315 feet long, located in Blocks 123 and 124 Original Town of Fort Worth, lying between Samuels Avenue and the north line of East Bluff Street, and containing 0.510 acres, more or less, per Exhibit `B" and C. A portion of North Cummings Street situated in Block 123 of the Original Town of Fort Worth and the Cummings Addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Volume 118, Page 32, Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas, and containing 22,389 square feet, per Exhibit `C" and, D An 11 foot wide by 200-foot long dedication tract for Pecan Street extension, located in Block 123 Original Town of Fort Worth, an unrecorded addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas, as recorded in Volume 568, Page 75 Deed Records of Tarrant County Texas, Lot F Pratts Subdivision and Lot 16 Land 600 of the M. Baugh Survey Abstract No 106, Tarrant County Texas, per Exhibit `D" and as more specifically described in the above-named Exhibits attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described street and alley nghts-of way is released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all existing utility easements shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense. SECTION 4 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances m conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.
