AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF
RANDOL MILL ROAD RIGHT-OF WAY FROM THE SOUTH
BOUNDARY OF LOT 1, BLOCK M OF THE BENTLEY VILLAGE
ADDITION TO THE NORTH RIGHT-OF WAY LINE OF JOHN T
WHITE ROAD HAVING A WIDTH OF 50 FEET AND A VARIABLE
LENGTH FROM 357 77 FEET TO 399.58 FEET AND CONTAINING
APPROXIMATELY 19,545 SQUARE FEET AS RECORDED IN
VOLUME 388-97 PAGE 19 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT
COUNTY TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID
LAND• THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS,
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a portion of Randol Mill Road nght-of way from the south boundary of Lot 1 Block
M of the Bentley Village Addition to the north nght-of way line of John T White Road as
recorded in volume 388-97 Page 19 of the plat records of Tarrant County having a width of 50
feet and a vanable length from 357 77 feet to 399.58 feet, and contaimng approximately 19,545
square feet, as more specifically described m Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above-described street and alley nghts-of way is released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law

SECTION 3.
That all existing utility easements shall be retained by the Cityuntil such time all utilities
located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense.
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances m conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

VACATION
A portion of R.ANDOL MILL ROAD, situated in the pity of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas
as said RANDOL MIII, ROAD appears on the plat of Block M BENTLEY VILLAGE SECTION
ONE, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas according to the plat thereof
recorded in volume 388-9? page 19 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas and described
by metes and bounds as follows.
Commencing at a %: iron found for the northwest comer of said Block M and the southwest
corner of Lot 1 Block M BENTLEY VILLAGE ADDITON, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Cabinet B, Slide 1614 of the said Plat Records in the easterly right-of--way of Randol
Mill Pazkway a (120' public right-of--way) and run north 88 degrees-52 minutes east, along the
north line of said Block M and the south line of said Lot 1 a distance of 110-78/100 feet to the
northwest and beginning comer of the Tract being described.
Thence north 88 degrees-52 minutes-00 seconds east, continuing along the north line of said
Block M, 64-91/100 feet.
Thence south 40 degrees-45 minutes-17 seconds east, 357 55/100 feet to the east line of said
Block M.
Thence south O1 degrees-08 minutes-00 seconds east, along the east line of said Block M, 32
381100 feet to a %a imn found for the southeast corner of said Block M in the north right-of--way
of John T White Road a (120' public right-of--way ).
Thence south 88 degrees-52 minutes-00 seconds west, along the south line of said. Block M, 38-
11/100 feet.
Thence north 40 degrees-45 minutes-1~7 seconds west, 399-58/100 feet to the place of beginning
and containing 0-448/1000 of an acre.
The basis for bearings is the north line of said Block M per plat call.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council
Adopt the attached Ordinance vacating a portion of Randol Mill Road right-of-way from the south boundary
of Lot 1 Block M of the Bentley Village Addition to the north right-of-way line of John T White Road as
recorded in Volume 388-97 Page 19 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas having a width of 50 feet
and a variable length from 357 55 feet to 399 58 feet and containing approximately 19 545 square feet.
DISCUSSION
Morteza Naghavi owner of adjacent property has requested vacation of the above referenced excess right-
of-way in order to include the property in a replat with the adjoining property and to develop the site
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division have indicated that the right-of-way vacation
is valued at $1 659 00 the applicant has paid this in full.
The City Plan Commission recommended approval of this vacation request at its meeting on June 27th
2001
An acceptable replat has been received
This property is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 4
