AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A VARIABLE
WIDTH DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 3R 1 BLOCK 2,
CITYVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH TEXAS
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT avariable-width drainage easement located in Lot 3R 1 Block 2 Cityview
Addition to the City of Fort Worth Texas and containing approximately 4 680 square
feet, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5476 Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas
and as more specifically described in Exhibits A and B attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above .described vacated drainage easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

BEING a tract of land situated in the JOHN F HEATH SURVEY ABSTRACT NO 641
Tarrant County Texas and being a portion of LOT 3R 1 BLOCK 2 of CITYVIEW ADDITION
an addition to the City of Fort Worth according to the plat as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide
5476 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas (PRTCT) and being more particularly
described as follows
COMMENCING at an X cut set for the northerly most corner of said LOT 3R 1 BLOCK 2,
THENCE South 17 47 36 East, a distance of 95 00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
THENCE South 75 59 50 East, a distance of 65 19 feet to a point for the beginning of a
curve to the right having a radius of 90 00 feet a chord bearing of South 44 31 10 East
and a chord length of 62 24 feet,
THENCE continuing along said curve to the right through a central angle of 40 27 31 for
an arc length of 63 55 feet to a point for corner

3R 1, BLOCK 2, CITYVIEW ADDITION FORT WORTH, TEXAS (VA-01-006)
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a variable width
drainage easement located in Lot 3R 1 Block 2, Cityview Addition an addition to the City of Fort Worth
Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5476 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas, containing
approximately 4 680 square feet.
DISCUSSION
Klinkelmann & Associates Inc. owner of the above described property has requested vacation of the
above referenced drainage easement for building expansion Existing improvements include water and
sewer lines storm drainage and underground utilities. The appropriate utility easement will be retained
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. A replat is required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 3
