ORDINANCE NO /~~~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 15-FOOT
WIDE BY 110-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT CONTAINING
APPROXIMATELY 1,650 SQUARE FEET, SITUATED IN LOTS
4R AND 5R, BLOCK A, MCANAULTY & NYE'S SUBDIVISION,
FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE
IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a 15-foot wide by 110-foot long utility easement, containing 1,650
square feet, situated in Lots 4R and 5R, Block A, McAnaulty & Nye's Subdivision,
Fort Worth, Texas and as recorded in Volume 388-176, Page 91, and Cabinet B,
Slide 1082, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically
described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be
and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED
Bung a sanitary sewer easement according to plat recorded as Lot 4-R & Lot SR, Block A,
McApulty & Nye's Subdivision, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas in
Volume 388-176, Page 91 and Cabinet B, Slide 1082, Plat Records,l'arrant County, Texas,
which has been abandoned by the Crty of Fort Worth and is described by metes and bounds as
follows.
Beginning at a point in the west right-of--way of Hurley Avenue, said point being North 00
degrees 00 minutes 55 seconds East 15 00 feet from the southeast corner of Lot 4-R, Block A,
McAnulty & Nye's Subdivision, an addition to the City,of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
according to plat recorded m Volume 388-176, Page 91 and Cabinet B, Slide 1082, Plat Records,
Tarrant County, Texas,
THENCE North 00 degrees Ol minutes 08 seconds West 109 54 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East 30 50 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 89 degrees 57 minutes 49 seconds East 10 00 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East 15 50 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 00 degrees O1 minutes 08 seconds East 99 55 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 1801 67 square feet.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 15-foot wide by 110-
foot long utility easement recorded as 4-R and 5R, Block A, McAnaulty and Nye's Subdivision, an
addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Volume 388-176, Page 91, Cabinet B, Slide 1082, Plat
Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and containing 1,650 square feet in the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue
DISCUSSION
Fort Worth Office Partners, L.L.C ,owner of the above described property, has requested vacation of
the referenced easement for underground parking purposes. Existing improvements include a parking
garage There are no known utilities in this easement.
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. A replat is not required
This easement is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
