HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 15211". ,~ e • / ~' I ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 15-FOOT WIDE BY 15-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 3, BLOCK 1, ROSEN NORTHWEST SUBDIVISION, CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That a 15-foot wide by 15-foot long utility easement, containing approximately 225 square feet, situated in Lot 3, Block 1, City of Fort Worth, Texas and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 1246, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished SECTION 2 That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption .. DISCUSSION ` The City of Fort Worth, Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division, owner of the above described property, has requested vacation of the referenced utility easement to correct the location of the easement dedicated by plat. Existing improvements include parking and paving There are no known utilities in this easement. The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A replat is not required This easement is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2. FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
