ORDINANCE NO S/
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING AN 8-FOOT WIDE
BY 345-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT AND AN 8-FOOT WIDE BY
300-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 1 R, BLOCK
1, WEISENBERGER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS.
SECTION 1
THAT an 8-foot wide by approximately 345-foot long utility easement, situated in
Lot 1 R, along the southern end of Lot REM 4 and lots 5 through 10, Weisenberger
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, an 8-foot wide by 300-foot
long utility easement, situated in Lot 1 R, along the northern end of Lots 15 through 20,
Weisenberger Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas and as
recorded in Volume 388-A, Page 120, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as
more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements are
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.

THENCE South 00 degree 23 minutes 42 seconds East at 4 00 feet passing the southeast corner

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating an 8-foot wide by 345-
foot and 300-foot long utility easement in Lots 1 R, and between Lots 15 through 20 and Lot REM 4, and
Lots 5 through 10, Block 1, containing 2,671 square feet, Weisenberger Addition, according to the plat
recorded in Volume 388-A, Page 120, of the Deed Records of Tarrrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Autobahn Realty Partners, owner of the above-described properties, has requested vacation of the
referenced utility easement to replat with adjoining land Existing improvements include telephone,
electric and sewer lines Existing utilities need to be relocated at the owner's expense
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. A replat is required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9
